Quick update: Visitor map added

Friday, February 15th, 2008

This is going to be brief, but I just wanted to let everyone know that we have added a fun little map at the bottom of the page that will show where people are visiting our site from. The map will be updated once a day and you will see yellow dots that show roughly where our readers are viewing the site from.

So take a moment and just scroll down to the very bottom of any page on the website to see where our readers are coming from.

UPDATE: Just for clarification to everyone, the map only shows the current days visitors, so you will only see dots for the people visiting the same day as you.

Monday, January 7th, 2008

We have been getting a lot of visitors looking at our picture of the big snow truck picture on our “Snow removal in Alaska… always a wonderful experience!” article. So, I thought you all might like to see a video of one of these beasts in action! Enjoy. :)

One day, my wife and I came home from running some errands, and we saw something that surprised us quite a bit…
